I would not recommend Chad Vaughan to any first-time homebuyer. We have a complex credit situation but a strong household income. I was upfront about this via text/email because I didn't want to waste anyone's time. We scheduled a call for Tuesday at 4:00 PM. He completely ghosted the call. No text, no heads up. He didn't reach out until 7:00 PM asking if I was "available by chance." When we finally spoke, his demeanor was incredibly discouraging and pessimistic. Instead of being a problem-solver or an advocate, he was condescending about our price range and our neighborhood goals. A realtor should be in your corner, motivating you; Chad did the opposite and actually put a damper on our excitement about buying a home. He promised to do research and get back to us by the next business day (Wednesday). It is now Thursday morning and I have heard absolutely nothing. I contacted another realtor the same day who was encouraging, professional, and sent us potential homes within hours. It’s clear Chad only wants to put effort into "easy" or high-end clients. If you are a first-time buyer looking for a partner who will actually work for you, look elsewhere.
